our song

I to you
you to I. . .
pledge maxium
hold to this truth. . .
no matter
at the passing waifs
or commodores
false deluge
no claim to ever after
no lust for holding on
yet simple pleasure
when my name
resounds, forth
from your tongue. . .
only pleasure
precious knowing
how we two belong
I to you
& you to I. . .
long wed in ode
shared voice, betrothed
eternal lifts our song. . .
