Soft rain to wet our lips
the dark night sky above
we began emotions
I knew would turn to love

I fell into a trance
that holds me to this day
and even if I could
I would not pull away

Your smile had caught my eye
your voice rang in my ear
your name upon my lips
I’m calling, can you hear?
