They tried to hide me
Tried to lock me away
Doctors analyze me night and day
In this small white room where I play
I can't escape it, so I accept it
Living a trapped life day by day
Having no outside contacts
Only listening to the words I say
The doctors and nurses never talk
They only mumble to themselves as I look at the clock
I've often been injected with "medication"
So doped up I couldn't tell if someone was a family relation
After the drugs I'm poked and prodded to see how I'll react
Then I'm left to my own mental vices
If I wasn't so out-of-it this might be a crisis
So who are you and what are you doing in my lovely white room
You must be my new roommate
Don't worry, after you go through the drug therapy
You'll learn to love what you hate
I know you're not crazy
In fact we're both very sane
They only put us here because we refuse to be plain
