CHANGE

Contributed by Brooke on Wednesday, 31st July 2002 @ 04:25:37 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I have hurt many people in my life,
Mostly my family and friends,
I hurt them by not telling them how much I loved them,
And I have said things that I wish I could take back.

When I realized what I had done,
I wanted to Change,
So I asked God to help me,
To be with me every step of the way.

So far he has answered my call,
And he has done more than that,
He was taught me that I didn't realize what was important to me,
And I ended up hurting the people I loved most.

Every day God gives me something new to learn,
And the more I learn,
The more I realize how little I know,
And I know that I am not the woman I want to be,
But I thank God that I am not the woman I use to be.

This I can relate to as well. Very nice write.
change is something that is always hard to do. To do so, it must be done with a full and whole heart of wanting to. And this sounds as if you done just that.
a nice inspiring write for new and all christians. I know any kind of change, weather or not God is involved, We must allow ourselves to let it happen for us and not for others. That the change is done for you and not for someone who wants you to.
thank you for an inspiring write
AMber Rose :)
