Let Me Take You Down...

The bad feelings can make you sink
down until your last breath
When you learn to hold time,
to still your own heartbeat
then you'll realize
that your last breath is also your first.

Walk on into the other side
the darker side of your mind
the one that speaks magic and truth
the one that makes you doubt
if the elaborate dream
is more than just a lyric in a song.

The wheels have been turning
the words are written on the wall
translucent trips of light
the grinding sphere
you're walking in the hall
and once you know, you cannot take it back.

The voices in your head
the knowledge in an instant
the powers trapped inside
the balance of all forces
the gods amongst the earth
the ones that they have visited.

Very interesting. I particularly liked this bit:
