I saw two lovers on the train
My thoughts turned straight to you
So I kept my eyes fixed on the glass
For their love made me feel blue
I focused on the world outside
I let my eyes just stare
But I saw nothing flashing by
I only saw the pair
The gentle touches of two hands
She turned to tilt her head
He bent and kissed her on the lips
My heart within was lead
I yearned for what the lovers had
The yearning brought such pain
And so I turned my face away
To watch the falling rain
I saw two lovers on the train
And as I often do
I wished the woman was really me
And I wished the man was you
