A lesson to be learned, a message to receive,
The message is the same, but the lesson you must achieve,
Society, so ever changing, so ironically occult,
Gives moral lessons in the form of an insult,
We’ve lost our touch since Thoreau’s time,
Becoming spellbound, heading to a reckless crime,
What applies to him applies to you and me,
Priorities first is what life should be.

Sounds like something I would have done, when I went to school. Always doing my homework and project in the last minute..hehe :P
It's nicely written :) I know I couldn't have written that in five minutes. Then it would be something like: "Here's a poem just for you, let's talk about priorities and other things we do.. THE END!" Hehe ;P |
