Walls Inescapable

Sometimes I like to
Walk into walls
It helps me think more clearly
Clear thoughts
With nothing in them
They bring me images
Pure and soft enough
To clothe a newborn
But how my scaly life compares
To the smooth skin of those
Considered innocent and free
Guilt runs through me
Ribbons tying bows at every joint
Causing me to trip and fall into floors
Roll on walls
Waiting for thoughts, fantasy lands
To grasp me and take me away
To paradise
Oh how perfection eludes me
How love and hate tease me
Poke holes in my fantasies
In my home, my friends
Manipulates them
Turns them into vapor
Where can I find a wall I can walk through?

Very good. It was open, honest and had a well connected array of images and concepts. Techinally, it was all a poem should be. Impressive.
