A Thing Called love

Something armored
Glamorized when in sight
Follows each of us
Some with stealth
Some with might
But this armored thing
Looks pitiful
Beaten down with spite
For the world does much damage
To the traditional
Little being
Who’s only wish is
To shed hate’s heavy
Armor
And reveal the beauty
Of every day life.

You've got an excellent appreciation of language and manipulate it very well. The metaphor was also complex and well elaborated upon. good work.
