TEMPO DE AMARTIME TO LOVE

Contributed by Lele on Friday, 3rd July 2009 @ 04:38:10 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Nada de tristeza,
Nada de rancor,
Eu não quero ouvir
Mais a tua dor,
Sofrer de princesa
De choros ínfimos,
Compaixão pequena;

E nem os teus gritos
De clamores políticos
Que já sei de cor...
Eu só quero ouvir
Palavras de amor
Durante essa guerra.

É tempo de amar.
Nada de aprender,
Nada de ensinar,
Só obter prazer,
O qual é estar sempre
Ao lado de ti,
Meu lótus brilhante;

Tu que és, por agora,
Espelho meu de ti
Espelho teu de mim,
Bruto diamante
Que, ainda, não ensejo
(Seu ser para mim,
De dentro para fora).

É tempo de amar,
Mi casa es su casa
Casas com papéis
Casa sem papel...
Assim nós estamos
Morando, ficando
Em nossa cidade
Nas nossas cidades...
Viajando à sós,
Só, de cá pra lá;

Em ônibus, carros,
Bicicletas, jatos,
Por muitos quilômetros...
Porém, não inda em nós,
Em grandes navios,
Olhando as estrelas
Cujo idílio mal
Pensamos em sonhar;

Sonhar com família,
Com filhos e filhas
Para nós cuidarmos,
Para ensinarmos
Lições que teremos
De repensar, mas...
Não quero mudar
Neste meu momento.

Mas não penso nisso
(não por agora, no íntimo)
Eu só quero estar...
Só desejo estar
Ao seu lado, amor;

Eu quero te amar,
Assim como ser
Teu amado, mas
Sem nos prometer
Um final feliz
Ou nos lamentarmos
Pelo amor efêmero
Que nós, futuramente,
Possamos criar;

Sim, só quero estar
Ao seu lado,
Sem ter nada pra
Pensar, ensinar
Ou, mesmo, aprender...
Só obter prazer
Durante o período,
Que estou vivendo,
Que é tempo de amar.

I thought i'd take up a challenge and translate it for those who wanted it, so here is my english translation (not perfect I know, but the best I could do):

Nothing of sadness,
Nothing of rancour,
I don’t want to hear
more of your pain,
Suffering from a princess
of lowermost tears,
Little compassion;

And not your shouts
of political outcry
what I already know of colour...
I only want to hear
words of love
during this war.

It is time to love.
Nothing to learn,
Nothing to teach,
Only to obtain pleasure,
Which is to be always
by your side,
My brilliant lotus;

You that is, for now,
My mirror of you,
Your mirror of me,
Rough diamond
that, still, I don’t try
(It is to be for me,
For it is inside of me).

It is time to love,
My house is your house
Houses with papers
a house without paper...
Thus we are
living, existing
in our city
in our cities...
Travelling alone,
Alone, from there to here;

In buses, cars,
Bicycles, spurts,
For many kilometres...
However, not going in us,
In great ships,
Looking at the stars
whose idyllic badness
we ponder in a dream;

Dreaming of a family,
With sons and daughters
for us to take care of,
To teach
lessons that we will have
to rethink, but...
I don’t want to change
in this, my moment.

But I don’t think about this
(Not for now, not intimately)
I only want to be...
Only desire to be
at its side, love;

I want you, love,
As well as being
your beloved, but
without us promising
a happy ending
or us lamenting
for an ephemeral love
that we, in the future,
Can create;

Yes, I only want to be
at its side,
Without having anything
to think, to teach
or, more precisely, to learn...
only to obtain pleasure
during the period,
That I am living,
That it is time to love.
