You and Me (Inside A Dream)

Contributed by redsleeve on Thursday, 2nd July 2009 @ 09:10:39 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Steal away with me
I know a special place
Follow me
Between the lines
Defining time and space

Building top, Chicago snow
Don’t mind this winter storm
Dance with me
Beating hearts
In sync will keep us warm

Come with me. We can go
If only for tonight
Run with me
Lend your wing
With mine we can take flight

Open field in Tennessee
Beneath the clearest skies
Lay with me
Adore the stars
I’ll adore your eyes

Let’s get out of here
Ditch this crowded bar
Drive with me
Let’s talk to night
We don’t have to go far

Hand in hand along the beach
You’re shining past the moon
Walk with me
Say you’re mine
Tonight our moon is blue

Heart is racing, eyes are wide
You’re everything I feel
You and me
Inside a dream
And none of this is real.

Though none of it is real it sure seemed like it was with this very beautiful verse.
It is also a nice dream to have so dream away!
