~How Can I Say~

Contributed by Jenni_K on Tuesday, 30th June 2009 @ 01:55:28 PM in AEST
Topic: InternetLove

~~xXx~~

I tried to write what’s in my heart
But the words refused to flow.
I guess I knew right from the start
My feelings you must never know.

I tried to write of my love for you,
But ink wouldn’t flow through my pen.
And all that I ever said was true .
I’m so happy to be just your friend.

I tried to view me through your eyes
To see how you feel towards me.
Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise,
That you have never let me see.

So how can I say in a poem
What I’m feeling in my heart,
It wouldn’t matter anyway,
Cause we live in worlds far apart.

~~xXx~~

Love is the most difficult simple emotion
that there is...

Sometimes, we have to console ourselves
that we can feel it at all, even if it's
not a love that is in the open or returned.

But it's as I've said...Love chooses us, whether
we will it or not.

Lovely, yet heartbreaking piece, Miss Jenni.
My heart goes out to you.

Be well,
~dawn

Ever since I saw Dawn say that: "Love chooses us, whether we will it or not."
I thought, OMG! How true.

So, yeah, it can be tough and you write about those feelings very well in this one. I am sure many of us have been in this position before.

Take care,

Tim

A beautiful write. Isn't it amazing how at times when we think we are stumbling for words, they seem to flow into an amazing piece like this.
