If I ever show you how much I really care
Would you ever love me would you ever dare
If I stood by your door to sing a song of love
Holding a dozen roses in a white glove
I would sing a melody a lullaby for you to sleep
And build a pier of love with foundations very deep
On top so high your name written in gold
I will pledge my love for you so together we grow old
Could you ever love me should I take the chance
Will you ever hug me in a slow rhythmic dance
How can I show how much you mean to me
I truly do love you and pray it is me you see.

*sigh* You know, I don't care what anyone
else says, but I believe that it's in "love" that
we are all equal. We are both at our weakest
and our strongest. This is a great piece.
