The other day I was thinking
And I came to a big conclusion
I want to share it with you because
If I do it may save you some heartbreak (I hope)
Think of that man you dreamt up
Who you visit at night in your dreams
You know this guy don’t you
The one you look for in every man you meet
(You’re picturing him as I speak aren’t you?)
Well darling he doesn’t exist
And as long as you’re looking for your fake man
The real one is walking straight past you.
Oh don’t even think that he’s out there
Because no one like him exist
The perfect guy for you isn’t this man in your head
He’s the guy walking down your street.
(Now Go Get Him)
