Topic: oops

The light at the end of the tunnel is no longer a pinprick
Still alone
Still fighting the world untill i collapse from exhaustion
Apathy, depression and anger
are now interjected with
hope, excitement and impending freedom
The longing for a hug, a look of understanding
or love and seeing past the barriers, walls and masks
exceeds all other feelings if they have not already been wiped out by the black dog.
The prospect of leaving everything is dismal
but is outshone by anticipation for what is to come

you're welsh so I'll leave you a lovely comment here. This manages to bridge the gap between abstract and reality, it feels like a down-to-earth fantasy. there's some interesting, unique imagery and a lovely flow. are you smiling now? you should be. it was great.
