Winter flowers
April showers
Walking in the park.
Rainbow ceilings
Happy feelings
The singing of a lark.
Hazy sunshine
Purple night time
A penny for your thoughts.
I've got your love
And all I can think of, is
What we're gonna do tomorrow.
Matinee movies
Old time groovies
playing rock and roll.
Sweet September
I remember
Scored a winning goal.
Meet some old friends
On the weekend
Talk of days gone by.
I've got your love
And all I can think of , is
What we're gonna do tomorrow.
What we're gonna do tomorrow
I'm gonna spend my time with you
time with you tomorrow
Is gonna make my dreams come true
Late night phone calls
Early snow falls
Thinking out aloud.
Window shopping
Pennies dropping
Pushing through a crowd.
Sunday driving
More alive than
I ever felt before.
I've got your love
And all I can think of, is
What we're gonna do tomorrow.

It would (and does) make a good poem. All lyrics, in some form or another, are poetry. Although you may have done without the second to last stanza. |
