Qindon, Polchett and Polchett
Were solicitors through to the bone
I used to be their assistant
And worked in their office alone.
I'd send the odd threatening letter
And make the odd menacing call
But Qindon, Polchett and Polchett
Were really not threatening at all.
Quindon was tall, dark and handsome
And had a quite dashing moustasche
He often gave presents to strangers,
Which was usually small sums of cash.
His charity work was unending,
For any old cause he would fight,
And anyone calling him nasty
Would only do so out of spite.
Now Polchett the first was a sportsman
And a very good sportsman at that,
He'd often be out on the playing fields
With a raquet or some kind of bat.
He liked to play football on Fridays
And on Saturdays, go for a swim.
And when asked why he dept up this pastime
He said that it kept him in trim.
His brother young Quindon the second
Loved music and sang in a choir.
He sung with a very deep voice,
But if required his voice could get higher.
And anytime that he was singing
His face was a picture of glee,
Once he put on a performance
For Quindon, his brother and me.

Another amusing ditty. Spike Milligan-esque. However, it seemed to miss a punchline. Or, is there more to the story? |
