A smile before kissing.
A smile before kissing betrays (true) love
Is the heart alive? Steady but wild,
What’s in a kiss? Love, Lust, Want, or obligation,
How many kisses are pure, untainted by agenda?
The true kiss is one, of two spirits,
A need, a want, suspended minds, eyes open, closed,
Do tongues brush, linger, love each other, or tease,
A true kiss feels, feels, feels like, just feels,
Lips are flesh, muscle, nerves, but more,
also poorly disguised source of soul,
An opportunity perhaps. of what?
What one wants, will all lips reveal, will some conceal.
Prostituted kisses are that, empty!
How long can you sustain that pain?
Charitable kisses obscure what? Self loathing/nothing,
A real kiss can enrich the soul (and destroy),
I love you, think so, means nothing,
Lips breathe love, from words to feelings,
Can be spoken away, and lips can be forgotten,
But a smile after kissing, betrays even greater love, bye bye.
