Bridled Stones

Your paw is a sun of bridled stones
Who rage like flint underneath
Disembodied
Early man's hairs,
Caressing moons,
Inhibitions lashing scantily-clad desires
Where the dewlap rested as a henge;
A boulder scrapes
Voraciously. You lap the
Lapdogs' ebbing limbs, the
Sun retracting. Pads
Are sometimes lunar-cold;
The pillows flaccid subbase.
