I peek over the icy cold shoulder of the mountain
Seeing heads of unleveled broccoli for miles,
Seeking out millions of gathered, broken pieces
Or oceans, Lakes, Rivers, and streams
Making one new sanctuary for marine life.
The fresh clean air swerves over and around me.
The mountain sneezes bringing fog and cold misty air
And the big blue above me feels close enough to touch.
The boulders stand at attention like a British solider
Lining up to make a cliff
These British soldiers cup their hands
Showing foot holes in the rock allowing me to climb them
To get a look at the view above.
As the sunsets across the horizon
A very distant city is seen
Showing me the difference
Between the heavy blanket covering them
And the soft sheets covering me.
