i've been waiting on this long hard day to get over,so i can rest my head on your shoulder,i just want to lay here and hear you breathe,and listen to your heartbeat,and see where it leads.we're wide awake. but i want to make you close your eyes,and say my name like only you can say then hold you tight,all i need is only you and me tonight.i wanna make you close your eyes,you can make me work for it,if you want to.just leave a little trail for me to follow you through.and if you need a little help from me there ain't a button i can't reach.le'ts see where it leads.we're wide awake but i want to make you fall asleep. so close your eyes and i'll hold you tight .i want to take you somewhere out there out of sight i dont want to let you go another night.i never want to leave your side, so it's o.k .to close your eyes..
