Have you looked around lately
And wondered where your friends have gone?
Have you watched tv lately
And found you didn't care what was on?
Have you had dreams lately
The ones you knew you can't realize?
Have you made mistakes lately
And found you had to pay your price?

Have you seen the new faces
The ones you never met before?
Have you been to new places
And walked through every unlocked door?
Have you gotten new habitats
Found out a different way to live?
And do you lie awake at night
Wondering if this is all there is?

Do you wonder where the past has gone
Those days when the good times never seemed to end?
Do you wonder why you don't say hello
To ones who once were your best friends?
Do you wonder how you'll make it through
Every night you spend alone?
Do you know it won't be that long
Until you finally leave home?

Did you realize your youth passes by
Those photographs became memories of lost times
Did you realize you're growing up too fast
And finally found out, nothing really lasts?

Wonderful flow! It makes some great points too about time. Great job =).
