I scream,
I’m forgotten
Ignored
Nobody’s listening.
Tape can’t hold a heart together for long
It eventually has to heal on its own
But my climax has been reached
Now all I have to do is fall.
I scream,
If I was worth something
Someone would have been looking for me
My cries for help
Could have been put out
Deserving isn’t the word
More like
Expecting.
