DO I CROSS THE LINE

When you walked in
I never thought that you would be the one.
Never did I think that we would be more than friends.
As time came to pass I felt myself falling in love with you.
I was scared that you would not feel the same.
You were my best friend.
Did I want to cross that line and risk
the friendship.
Or not cross it and miss out on a love of a life time.
These are the questions I asked myself.
I would never change my choice.
For I still have my best friend and the love of my life.
