If all I ever have is the sun on my face
still, I will raise it to feel that kiss.
To have that touch and know
that, beyond any wish I might dream,
I have held the face of heaven in my hands.
For there could be no greater gift
than this, that which was made for us,
to nourish both body and soul,
undeserving and selfish
stewards that we may be.
So I will strive to earn this privilege.
To give back even a fraction
of what has been given to me.
And until my final shuddering breath
I will sing my praise to you.

There is so much beauty, inspiration and eloquence in your poem.
It lifts one's spirit and places a psalm in the heart.
I can't imagine any higher praise.
