When I feel hope is lost
Cos I haven’t heard from you
The tears fill my eyes
And my outlook is blue
The doubt fills my head
There’s a fork in the track
I’m thinking that it’s over
And then you bring me back

A see-saw of emotions
I’m more or less confused
So I go about my business
But feel I’m being used
I'll send you a note
And wonder if you're slack
But when I think you won't reply
It's then you bring me back

So if you don't feel it
And I'm not who you want
You've got to let me go now
Find another girl to haunt
You can't leave me waiting
You gotta cut me some slack
So next time when I pull away
Please don't bring me back
