Standing in the Dark
You can’t tell which way to go.
The outcome could take you farther or closer to the light.
But what if you took so long the light burned out?
It got tired of waiting,
Do you live in the dark?
I’m too broken to burst through strong,
I’m done!
If the light couldn’t hold out why should I?
If I’m worth something
Someone would have come searching for me
Long ago
But no
I’m worth nothing
Look deep what do you see?
What you find no one else will.
I’m just little Miss Understood.

Well written. It flows together nicely. I like the imagery particularly in the beginning.
