Don’t Force, just fly
Be strong, don’t cry
No problem
My tears symbolize dehydration
Don’t bring me down!
Don’t wait, just go
Don’t ask me, you know
I’ll mold, I’ll shape
That’s me,
Don’t ask me to show you the way,
When I can’t even ditch my rut,
Strong just shows on my shell
One crack and I ooze.
When depression is numbing
By repetition
And you still feel the pain
From that broken heart
Can old glue and tape fix me?
Again and again and again it breaks
Each time leaving behind pieces of me
It can only grow back crooked
But as I grow
My crooked heart begins to surface
And reads on my face
Read my face!
What does it say?
It changes every time I look
Now I feel like I’m losing me.
But hey, that’s all I got left to lose.
