I'M SORRY YOU GUYS FOR LEAVING THIS WAY
BUT I KNEW IN MY HEART I COULDN'T LIVE ANOTHER DAY.
THE DARKNESS SEEMED LIKE TO MUCH OF A TEMPTATION
AND I COULDN'T STAND THE ALIENATION.
ALIENATION......THAT'S SUCH A HARSH WORD TO USE
BUT I'M ONLY EXPRESSING WHAT ARE MY VIEWS.
DAD, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER
OUR FATHER-DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP NOTHING CAN SEVER.
MOM, I'M SORRY FOR BEING DISRESPECTFUL TO YOU
BUT JUST KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU TO.
TO MY SISTERS, WHAT CAN I SAY
BUT TO THINK OF THE GOOD TIMES WE HAD EACH AND EVERYDAY.
FINALLY, PLEASE PLEASE DON'T BLAME YOURSELF FOR THIS AT ALL
IT'S MY FAULT FOR ERECTING THIS COLD FRIGID WALL.
IT HELPED ME DEAL WITH ALL THIS HURT INSIDE,
BUT IT MADE ME SO DEPRESSED I CRIED AND CRIED.
I CRIED EVERYDAY FOR WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN BEFORE
BUT THAT'S ALL IN THE PAST NOW, IT EXISTS NO MORE.

This poem really made me cry. I have a daughter whom I love more than life itself, and I would do ANYTHING to prevent her feeling like this.
I hope that you have used this poem to alter your state of heart and mind.
Love |
