I'll remember the day,
Til the day I die,
The words coming at me,
They hurt me so much!
They said,
"Adam was in a crash today. He was killed"
I'll remember the day,
Mostly for how much I cried,
For how much I hurt,
And for just how much I had lost.
I'll remember the day,
As one of the harshest.
One that forced me to become a little stronger,
To show God,
That despite his best effort,
He still had yet to find something,
That would make me lose it completely.
Although it took loosing Adam to prove it,
I have shown just how strong I really am!

I have lost loved ones tragically as well my friend
the calender will move
the day will past
but 2 things will always remain
the memories
and the pain
because life is and will always be bittersweet
stay strong

Dear Kyler,
Loss of a loved one is not something we count on happening to us, especially of one so young. Parents are supposed to die first. At least that is what I thought, but we buried our son from suicide. Death is hard. Pain and loss are often unbearable, but one thing I have learned is that I don't walk through the tunnel of grief alone. God walks with me, His arm around my shoulder. He does the same for you, my friend. He did not plan death. It is the work of the enemy. God created us to live and someday soon, we will be with our loved ones again in heaven and the enemy will be no more. We have an anchor. It is the hope that God has put in our hearts. Hope for eternity. So be strong and courageous or weak. Either way, God is stronger and will hold you until He returns. God bless. Keep writing.
