The girl with the water colored eyes
biting her bottom lip subconsciously
her hair, wavy and loose, flowing down her golden shoulders.
her warm body is wrapped in a simple white gown
the way it laces up her skin...
You could imagine it was inviting you in
She keeps all of her mistakes
tightly enclosed in her mind, an envelope to be burned.
She laughs uneasily when all the men watch her
and the girls around bleed envy.
She's like a painting, beauty captured every moment
her eyes carrying so much pain but it rarely shows
Beauty comes with a price
like your heart on the line.
Eventually, the rose petals fall away
dripping like red blood splatters.
