To say I am a legend would be a mistake
but I am remember, it is true I am no fake
grounded at the age of 9 for stealing a knife
I was beaten senseless and educated about life
I was taught the basics, the differences between wrong and right
and the rewards you achieve when you be polite
respect what others may feel and give them the time of day
remember that my son and you will go a long way
I sit and wonder, wonder if I'll be chosen to be a farmer
or a knight in the royal guard and a full coat of armour
but life for me was to take a different turn
I was selected to go to Amberleigh
a secret place, where only few are invited to learn
there I studied under my master, Sir Phillip Winebridge-Lark
a masterful man, and commander of the dark
unaware of what was to transpire in this holy place
I felt I was stuck in a holy black embrace
for 5 years Sir Phillip fine tuned my thinking
I was able to bond with animals and people
while others clashed with heavy drinking
in the dead of night when all had collapsed
I was out stalking, setting the deadliest of traps
I learned so much my mind was on fire
I could see right through people and tell if you're a liar
but struggles with daily life, others inspire to live
I remember to them the time of day, that I love to give
I hope one day when I die I get to live again
a new journey of self discovery started once again:)
peace:)

It's a good poem. I understood everything. But, in favor of my ignorance's fading, could you tell if your text refers to another story? I'd be very thankfull if you answered me.
Bye,
Leandro Monteiro.
