The real me

Contributed by Kazzy1231 on Sunday, 14th June 2009 @ 01:55:36 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Where is she?
The real me.
The me that didn't have to drink to be happy.
The me that didn't feel so crappy.
Where is she?
The old me.
The me that didn't always cry.
The me that didn't always want to die.
Where is she?
The real me.
The me that didn't care that she was as crazy as can be.
The me that didn't just wanna drown in the sea.

I don't know if this poem shows what you are. But part of it reminds me when I was teenager, with many ideas about I'm (or was).

In fact, being a man imagine a person (more charactered) that impose to yourself, but (if you want be sincer to yourself) your mask falls down because your are so tired of being what you fake to yourself. It was what I felt since my adolescence until my adult growth.

These are simple verses, but very true. Thanks.

Well this is a hard one to comment on but I shall try. First it's good writing.
We all fall into behavers that we really don't like. It's tipical afterf break ups if that's the case. You need to learn to luv your self and be patient with your self.
Look in the mirror at least once a day and tell yourself, "I know I'm somebody 'cause God don't make no junk.
Take things one day at a time. It's realy hard to be happy in this day and age but still it's attainable.
Change what you don't like about yourself but again, I stress be patient with yourself.
Huggs, blessings, peace, joy,
emy
I'll put you in my prayers.
