Time, the cruel beast

Time is relentless
when you wish
the kiss would last
the pain to pass quick
time moves on
like the benign river
at it’s own pace
with it’s own fate
You tell me I’m strange
now I want simple things
for the sense of apathy
for a void of empathy
I’m tired of being real
surrounded by images of people
that feel the cheapest things
and know the smallest hope
Time is relentless
a cruel and heartless beast
promising only a cold death
promising endless obscurity
I hope to be free
never to love again
not to be dragged in times wake
torn on the careless rocks.

The time doesn't forgive us about your fate. I was writing a poem about this theme, but considering her as a sado owner of me, who is hurt by her whips.
I like your poem.
Bye, bye. |
