Disease

Loneliness rips and tears my soul
My world is consumed in dark shadows
You can't see,
But it's gone up in flames...
This fire is cold
For it's hard to keep warm
Without the understanding of another
I'm tired of everyone telling me how to feel
Telling me how to react...
Walk in my shoes-
Now tell me-
Are you ready to throw in the towel?
I don't wanna die
Until I feel I've lived a life
And this isn't living
My heart and soul are empty
Growing colder by the second
All that I love
All that I care for
Has been stolen from my world.
I want out
Need a new existence
With much less pain
I am tired of being on the outside
Looking in
Watching the rest of the world
Through a dirty window
Watching the beauty as it is destroyed
Can anyone hear me?
Please listen, understand
Warm my soul once more
And rescue me from this foreboding darkness
