MY HEART STRINGS

MY HEART STRINGS

Golden roses in silver embed.
A word not heard, a word not said.
Memories without memory.
A precious tune played softly.
Deep, so very deeply buried
May ne'r surface, 'tis wearied.
A picture, a call, a friend
Gingerly spoken fear offend.
A lifetime, a longing, a pining.......
Crushing melancholy awning.
A peaceful hum, crescendo,
Horrific storm then a rainbow,
A hue of each colored bright,
Heart strings, all is all right.
A loss of a dear one revive
Lovingly, he's still alive.

A lasting love for over 50 years
Anguish, anxiety, and yes, tears
Not calmly did I stop strumming
Heart strings hopeless stroking.
The time was exclusively ours,
A healing, a journey of memoirs
Bravery was his partner in time,
A curiosity seasoned with thyme?
Embracing years gone ahead,
A piecing of pieces all unsaid.
Does it matter why a rainbow?
A tune played, a slower tempo?
No longer wondering...
A shadow lifted, my heart
strings once again played
with meaning.

Created especially for a dear,
and special man, with
warm love,

"Thank you"
Lovingcritters
Connie Sue

"As apples of gold in silver carvings
is a word spoken at the right
time for it."

~Proverbs 25:11~

Oh Connie,

I am so happy that this person found you once again.
The graphics, beautiful poem and the music just go so well together, it fills my heart and soul. It brought happy tears to both my eyes and then some.

Hugs
Michelle

An ideal write for me to read today I think.
My mind was racing, in a whirl of thoughts I didn't seem to be able to control
Then I read.........and was instantly soothed.
Thank you

Steve
