Is this all that I have become?
Scars and memories upon heart and mind,
Sobbs of painful loss and silent laughter,
Forever lost within the folds of time…

Has love left it’s torturing mark?
As aflictions of what could have been ,
Tear at the very being of my soul,
While each day I loose a bit of myself…

Is my soul forever to weep for your love?
Only to fall upon unlistening ears and go unheard,
To seek yet never to be found,
As time passes and my body withers with age…

Oh me,
I know this one well. With age I've come to realize that the past can only hold us back. More than likely this person has moved on. She probably don't give you a thought. I'm only speaking from experience. Once you realize that then you can move on yourself. Take back your heart and really try to get past the pain.
Trust me, after all is said and done you'll see that some times luv just gets on down the road. Let it go and know that you gave it all you had. Now learn to like your self and soon this too shall pass.
