Midnight Screaming

...Midnight Screaming...

The clock reads twelve,
I hear the chiming of the bell.
sleep is what I need,
But with you is where i wish to be.

For this I can not sleep,
and no longer can I dream,
for all I see is you,
Nothing but a broken dream and a fading memory.

im still waiting here,
cant you hear me scream,
I wont let you leave me here,
Drowning in your own fears and nightmarish fantasies .

so take me with you,
we can break down the walls,
and there we can show them all,
the love that makes us scream.

Welcome to the site and the wonderful addiction that is poetry.
I started out on here just expecting to write a few pieces.....but just got drawn in.
Hope you will soon be screaming with joy at all the comments

Steve
