When you write a poem
The words are never lost
But your feelings are on show
So you must survey the cost
To pass on your meaning
And when your words are read
Becomes a moment of despair
That often poets dread
But even more so
When you show the one you care
Because now all your feelings
Are there for her to share
And if she is not that into you
A change you will see
But if I am really lucky
I will know she loves me
