A beautiful butterfly always flutters away
when the young boy tries to catch it with his small hands.
A colorful salmon swims all day in the ocean,
but never nibbles on the bait of the old fisherman.
A lovely celebrity walks down the red carpet in Hollywood
and refuses to autograph the T-shirt of a loyal, longtime fan.
A dazzling comet zooms right past the night sky
after the astronomer fails to take its photograph.
A limited edition video game is wanted by all gamers
as an angry customer demands more supply from Sony’s staff.
A special person once made me feel like
that young boy, that old fisherman,
that loyal, longtime fan,
that astronomer, and
that damn angry customer.
