In my eyes
you are a dream come true
to others
you are just an influence they
think I don't need.
Sometimes I don't understand it
to me you are important,
and they don't understand that.
I don't care what they think
because you are mine and I yours
and someday they will come to grasp with that.
They're just mad because
I have a life and they don't.
Together we are a perfect whole
and they are just pieces of a puzzle.
They can be down
like the rest of the world
and they wouldn't have what we have.
