I barely have a life to continue on
There’s nothing in this life to live for but dread
All the people that I had known are gone
And all my loved ones are dead
My thoughts were rushing as I prepared to leap
My bare toes were gripping the edge
And I knew the cliff, my heart would reap
Without a word I dropped off the ledge
No screaming erupted from my heart of dread
I knew what I had done was right
And that I will be in the land of the dead
By the end of the night
