I was playing a game on a web site
When I saw a vid about the Internet at night
They said things about a predator’s stalk
Ands they can do things to make you talk
It made me become freaked
As I saw that a pop up had sneaked
I opened the window and shuddered at the pic
It was so wrong, so bad, so sick
I quickly closed it with a sight of relief
But then it reopened to my disbelief
Another one popped up, it was an ad
Everything about it made me mad
It showed the picture of my friends on MySpace
That I had posted with my friend Grace
It had us smirking evilly at the screen
And it warned that we weren't what we seemed
Pop ups continued coming up to my dismay
I wanted to disappear, to be far away
All were things about my friends and me
All the pictures we had wanted the world to see
My eyes began to water as read the next line
Why couldn't everyone on Earth be fine?
My virus detector seemed to pick up the bads
It let out continuous beeping at all the ads
I brushed away tears and tried to be calm
But soon gave up and called my dad and mom
Why did it have to be me?
Why couldn't it be my sister Lee?
My parents came up and asked me what happened
They took a look at the screen and were instantly saddened
By then a chat box had popped open
And someone was typing something I wasn't hoping
They called me some things and demanded my number
I cried even harder and refused to slumber
My dad called the police with an effortless grab
While my mom read all the tabs
The cops came immediately and looked at the pages
And then told me that I had a virus and it had so many stages
They asked me what I did and I explained all the before
They shook their heads and they looked sore
I really learned my lesson in the darkness to light
Never wander web sites at night
