Withered Love

Alone I whimper in the solitude of loneliness;
once a beauty, now a disgrace
I look your way and find mere coldness;
Once admiration is now replaced with a poker face.
I am still young but feel so worn;
I see your attention is now gone.
You give me a look as if you are torn;
At times I feel like a powerless pawn.
I feel as though I am a withered orchid;
An age ago so full of live,
now I reside in a state of being morbid.
I feel our love has been killed with a knife.
What can I do to renew the spark?
I long for a kiss on my lonely lips;
Please take me for a stroll in the park.
Without passion my soul will rip.

Sorry you feel this way...I really am. It was a great poem though. |
