Little Boy, go to sleep
don’t you weep
For yesterday has passed,
And tomorrow will come
Nothing ever lasts.
Little boy, go to sleep

Little Boy, dream your dreams
Dream your dreams and never tell
Of the Winding roads, the Black and White,
Dream your dreams at night
Squirm around, sweat, yell,
Little boy, dream your dreams.

Little Boy, time to wake up
Not enough time,
You’ve got to grow up
Be the man you were destined to be
Just as long as you don’t forget me
Little Boy, time to wake up.

Young Man, don’t forget
I’ve been here, all along
Putting you to sleep,
Helping you realize your dreams,
Waking you up,
Young Man, don’t forget
