Cradle Me Softly

Again cradle me softly
Safely in your arms,
To your breast hold me gently
And soothe me with your charms.
I feel the velvet healing
In your fingertips,
And there's such warm feelings
Borne upon your lips.
Just a gentle whisper
Breathed softly into my ear
Creates a summer out of winter,
A pearl of every tear.
But must the gold change to grey?
Must your hold always slip away?

Very nicely composed. And the theme is timeless and universal.
