Phantom Pain

Topic: DarkPoetry

God does not talk to me anymore
All I have is my prayers and heaven's gate is closed on me
What else I have but words that gets lost in God's ears
Its time for me to fade away

That me died an hour ago
Laid to rest in the shallow grave of regrets
When you went to another's arms
I just want to fade away

My name now is dark
That's what's running through my veins
That what's in my heart
Coz I'm fading away

What I feel now is beyond help
Its beyond salvation
Not able to see past the veil
Not able to feel past the pain

Next comes longing right after is pain
I am fading coz love has forsaken me
My veins are open and life runs out red
Fading into oblivion and nothing but emptiness beside me

My mind is slowly numbing
As pain drains from my vein good bye my love
Ill never see you again

Seeing when I'm blind is a fools dream
A land of emptiness is where I journey
Seek me where no light shine
Find me in the deepest corner
That's where I despair
That's where I reside
Coz in your world I have faded
And I'm lost in mine

Sounds like heartache to me. I know it's hard to forget and move on but sometimes it's just necessary. You should remove yourself from all toxic people or else those toxins will consume you. I've been there, a moment away from death.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
