The silence
A strange glow
Comes from the shadows of the trees
Sprouting from the veins of the leaves
Breathtaking color
Not blueberry blue
Not blue jay blue
But green
It was a spotlight
Slowly freezing up the whole forest
All life is lost
The glow gets brighter
Not even squirrels
The glow gets brighter
They found a
clandestine spot to hide
A single feather lie on the ground
A tiny, faint glow remains on it
Unsure what created it
The glow has surrendered
Seeped into the night ground
The worms feed on the glow
Beauty is
Among the forest
Wait, are you getting over your head?
The spook of the
nighttime forest getting you to see things
Crazy is not a bad thing
Yet madness is
Madness will twist your whole head around
Beauty
can bring madness
And yet, what if you're not crazy
If the glow really did exist
A spirit is reaching out for you
Pinning for you
Cannot live without you
What kind of thing could this be
Waiting in the
Translucent air to see you
Will it do you harm, will it love you good
Will it simply stay there in the wood
This is how a backyard, becomes a dream
