Time works in many ways
He is an artist, sculpting valleys,
Building magnificent mountains from humble hills.
He is a jailer, man caught and held
By bars of minutes and cells of years.
He is a teacher, lessons given
Whether wanted or not.
He is a runner, moving quickly, quickly
Never to stop.
He is a healer,
No wounds beyond his ability.
But most
Time is an author,
And his is the greatest story of them all
