Flicking Channels In My Mind.

Contributed by lostrelic on Wednesday, 3rd June 2009 @ 11:01:35 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Sitting in the darkened serenity listening to the voices in my mind,
telling me things of tomorrow.
Staring at the empty darkness with my covered fold,
wishing i was but left alone.

We will share the same ruse.
Hiding in houses made of tarot cards,
with the jester facing forward.
Waiting for the push, waiting here for you.

Golden lines in the sand, sparkling in the morning light.
A steady pass threw the meadow, the storm still held at bay.
The enemy has covered all sides, he thinks he has the high ground.
Waiting for the knowledge that has forgot to be found.

I see an angel in the tree's
her shadow brings the rot within.
Her wings are yellow
they do not carry the strength to win.
She is guided by the mistakes of man,
the fools overture.
Watching as we play our song,
noting on how immature.
Her voice is the bugle in silence she awaits,
waiting for us to make the biggest mistake.
Her eyes hold the son, watching him in his place,
waiting for him to blind the human race.

Dolls lie at the babies who hold them, promises of quietness.
Flies dive at the flesh, wanting to leave life.
I wont need your picture till the interview is done.
I have listened to the angel, who already believes she has won.
I am not alone in my mind, ask the other persons view,
he hides in the back pushing small thoughts threw.
I wanted my queen but her memories are strong,
her dreams tell me things that some how have gone wrong.

The valley is empty just waiting for the show,
this masterpiece that was built from a little dream.
This twisted passion to eat our world.
Locked inside this spinning ball, anger for the king
I still love you but i still burn. i still love you but i am but worm.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
